appointment scheduling without using MRS in PM orders

Hi ,

We attach workcenters or personal numbers to order operations . If work is more than the availbel capacity in work center order gives warning . In work centers we have people and positions mapped . My client wants before even saving order , he would like to see what is the avilable capacity of each staff (PM -HRMS integration) by inputting position . If gets some persons during the operation dates , he will assign persons to that work center of operations (kind of appointment scheduling) . I am aware this is possible through MRS , where in you input an order , can see load of staff on required dates and drag and drop personal to order , if they are available .

How can we achieve this in PM order .

Hi Peter ,

Nice to see your Photo ...Every one wants to see how their role model looks like ...Thanks to SAP .

Any way, I was aware about the limitation . But  then

1)What is the use of HR-PM integration (It is now just limiting to assigning person , position , qualification to work center ...But what is the use ?)

2)How best client can use HR-PM integration without using any additional product ?

3)Have you ever done a Z development on this ...Like Input can be work order (i.e Load) or work center( as resource) ...If only work order is given ,it will see assigned work centers in operation and see which people are assigned in work center and show their already assigned orders for the operation start and end date along with durattion.........If he enters list of work centers , it should show load of people assigned to that work center .....

You can assign HR employees to the Logisitics Work Centre. You'll need to configure the work schedule in HR too.

Then you can use the standard planning boards (TCode CM*) to plan/schedule order operations

I do not know if this is possible unless you are using IS-Utilities for appointments which is found under the work force management set up in the IMG.

Are you using IS-Utilities???
