Calling Smartform from PCUI application

I have developed the smartform, how to call the smartform from the PCUI application when I click on some tool bar button.

Do I need to make any cofiguration or need to write a code in the Model class?

Regards,

Arun Reddy Thummala.

    Hi Arun,

You can call the smartform from the PC UI application using the "Form Preview" controller

Create a new Event for PRINT with element type as "FORM Preview". The structure that is linked with this event should contain a field of type TSFOTF.

    In the Model Access Class

Call the FM SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME to get the generated Function Module name for your Smartform.

Then call the FM that is returned by the SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME function. Finally call the FM CONVERT_OTF with format parameter set to 'PDF' to generate the PDF version of the form and use the acrobat plug in in the presentation server to display the form.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards, Debasish

    Hello Arun,

in the Opportunity you have the possibility to activate a Smartform which allows you to create a PDF of the Opportunity. Documentation can be found at: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/a5/234fa40768aa479c58e955d86c7bcc/frameset.htm
