Hello RSV,
When calculating the key figure Mean Time between Repair, only the start-up date can be taken into account if the indicator Start-up was set in the master data for equipment or functional locations. If the indicator was not set then the end date of the first malfunction message will be taken into account. In this case, the first malfunction message will not be used when calculating the key figure MTBR.
The average duration of a machine breakdown, MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), is calculated from the individual history of a piece of equipment. This gives the following formula:
MTTR = Total Sum of Breakdown hours / Number of Breakdown
Example :
First breakdown 08 hours
Second breakdown 06 hours
Number of breakdowns 02
MTTR = ( 8 + 6 ) / 2 = 7 hours
The average duration between two machine breakdowns, MTBR for short ( Mean Time between Repair), is calculated from the individual history of the equipment. The key figure MTBR is calculated in hours.This gives the following formula:
MTBR = (Total available hours - total downtime for previous repairs )/Number of breakdowns
The following example shows how the MTBR is calculated:
Acquisition date of pump A 01.01.94 and First breakdown 10.01.94.(Total run = 9 days)
Downtime 10 hours
Second breakdown 20.01.94. (Total run = 10 days)
Downtime 5 hours
Number of breakdowns 2
MTBR = (19 * 24 - 10) / 2 or X + Y (hr) / 2
= (456 - 10) / 2 or (216 + 240 - 10) / 2
= 223 hours

Deepak

Hi RSV,
As you said you are not getting any report in MCJB & MCJC, for this Please check
whether you have defined a ''start up date'' for your technical object or not.
To calculate the MTTR/MTBR you need to create notification with the breakdown box ticked.
MTTR & MTBR are calculated in followinfg way
MTTR = Sum of Breakdown hours/Number of Breakdown
MTBR = Sum of Available Hours - Breakdown Hours/Number of Breakdown
Sum of available Hours = Time Between Repair + Breakdown Hours
Please check on your end.
Hope this will help you.
Regards
Ritesh
