Error in LSMW using BAPI as object type

Hi,

I created an upload template for LSMW to change resubmission rule date of Rental Spaces.  Testing passed in DEV, but when I exported and imported the Project in QAS, error No partner exists with the name '', type '' was encountered when I executed the Start IDoc Generation.  I have already checked the preparatory measures and the ports and partners have the same set-up as of that in DEV, and re-executed the lsmw but still encountered the same error.

Hi Ian,

After importing a LSMW in a new system you have to set the original IDOC settings again. So you go to transaction LSMW and in the start screen choose Settings > IDoc Inbound Processing and there you create the same file port as on the DEV environment (I always create a port called LSMW with type File) then fill Partnertype (I always choose US) and finally you fill the partnernumber (here I also create a partner LSMW in which I fill the proper inbound parameters BUS15*).

After filling all the appropriate fields click on button Activate IDoc Inbound Processing. Now the settings are activated and you can run the LSMW again, but you have to choose Convert data first. So the new settings are taken over in the IDOC.
