Hi Srikar,

How many records do you have in the report?(is it more than 40k)

Do you have any Sub-Report in the report?

if yes, where it is placed.

and as per Abilash suggestions could you please upgrade crystal Designer to SP3.

Thanks,

Praveen G

Hi Srikar,

The best way to zero-in on the issue is to suppress each section one by one and then exporting.

So, first suppress the Report Header and export. Then, un-suppress the Report Header and suppress the next section and then export.

Hi Abhilash,

I tried suppressing the report header and page header it was working fine, but previously i used to export with all the headers. Without page headers the output file is of no use. I was facing the same issue on one of the local desktops too then i uninstalled the software and installed it again then it was working fine but its not the solution.

Hi Srikar,

Could you try upgrading to CR 2008 SP3?

Hi Srikar,

12.1.x.x is CR 2008 SP1.

CR 2008 SP3 is 12.3.x.x

Are you exceeding the row limit in Excel?  What Version of Excel are you using?

Hi Srikar,

Are you doing the export from SCN?  If so you are in the right place.  However, I suspect that your question is more to do with Crystal Reports so I would suggest searching in SCN for Forum Finder and then use that to find the Business Objects Community with a possible sub-community of Crystal Reports.
