skip operations in routing

Hi All,

            i have two materials  in production order but it don't have BOM only creating .then i want to skip for one raw material to one operation and then second material will go through the that operation  then at final operation the two raw materials  will combine and confirm . this will do how this scenario

Hi

  1. Without BOM, the materials cannot be allocated to the operations.
  2. One material can be allocated to only one operation in a routing.

Please explain the scenario more clearly so that you will get related answers from the experts.

Hi,

         Two semi finished products have many sizes. but that semi finished come from same raw material that's cause we don't gave the BOM. in this way how to differentiate

Hi Chakravquarthy,

     I think variant configuration suits perfect to your scenario. You can prepare a super BOM, super routing and write 'Procedure' dependencies. This can solve your problem as i am suggesting from what i have understood.
