Enhancement of 0MATERIAL

Hi experts

I have a requirement to report on headcount, with the display of several employee attributes. For this I will have to do some enhancements.

Bellow is some of the information that is required and for which i have some doubts:

- Infotype 2006: Category, Quota Number

Can i create a simple Datasource to ehance 0EMPLOYEE with quota number for the severa categories. Something like:

Employee Start date End Date Vacation Quota Last year vacation Quota

1 01.01.2010 31.12.2010 22 2

1 01.01.2011 31.12.2011 22 0

1 01.01.2012 31.12.9999 22 4

If all i need is this information, can i load it to master data, or should it be transacional?
