Hallo.
I would like to check if the export of Oracle database is successfull or unsuccessfull.
The command of the export is:
exp system/******* full=y file=NUL buffer=300000 LOG=C:\Scripts\EXP.log
So I need to check the last line of the log file EXP.log if it is equal to "Export terminated successfully without warnings." or not.
Anyone knows if is it possible?
Thanks for your help.
Mario

Hi Mario,
You can check the options in DBACOCKPIT for alerts. Moreover I would suggest to develop a script in OS level directly to check the last line and mail you using mailx command( in unix) directly from OS level.
You have to do a bit of Unix scripting and you can schedule this command in the same script.
Thanks,
Jagadish.
