PR Release Not coming in ME51N

Dear All,

I had created the necessary settings in PR release strategy in with classification as below

1.Created Characteristics(PR Doc type -- CEBAN -BSART with values like ZNB,ZRAW etc)

2.Created Class & assigned characteristic

3.Created Release Group,Release Codes,Release Indicator & release strategy (assigned PR doc types) & simulated in release strategy

After configaration when i am creating PR  in ME51n for doc type ZNB or ZRAW system is not trig erring the release strategy

Please give solutions to solve the problem

Note : I am created Release strategy for PO it is working fine

Hi,

1.Kindly check the SAP note 371667 and check if in the EXITS statement   E_CEBAN = I_CEBAN.

is provided if the exits are activated

2.You can also check the if "item wise " or "overall release"

CEBAN-XXXXX

For item release it should be GSWRT

For overall release it should be GFWRT

Check the Charecteristic assignement

a)Please kindly check if EXIT_SAPLEBND_001 or EXIT_SAPLEBND_004 active in your system.

If it is active, please kindly deactivate it and retest.

b)If you are using overall release strategy, please kindly make sure you have the "Overall release"

indicator checked in Customizing below:

Transaction SPRO:

MM-Purchase requisition-Define document types

"Overall release" indicator.

This indicator must be tally with the indicator you have in the customizing below:

SPRO:

MM-Purchase Requistion-Release Procedure-Define Release Procedure with classification

Release Groups -> check the "Overall release" indicator

Hi,

If you have done for PO and working fine ,then select check of "OvRelPReq" for PR document types {ZNB and ZRAW} and save in following path:

SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Requisition > Define Document Types

Hello Ashok

You should create characterstic for total value of the PR (I.e CEBAN - GNETW ) please find  the fields in CEBAN structure.

Do you have only one charecteristics for PR Release strategy..?

Check if there is any other charecteristics available from CL20N..and if you have not maintained the same.

If you keep the charecteristice value blank..then the release strategy will not be triggered.

Check the Release tab will come at Item Level, you might be searching at Header level?
