Certificate Chain Import

We are using SOAP Receiver Adapter to connect to External System.

Our External System has provided their server certificate for importing into SAP PI.

This certificate contains self-signed certificate chain (Root->Intermediate->End Certificate).

We have imported all the 3 certificates separately in the correct order into NWA->TrustedCA's.

The certificates have not expired but we are getting "Peer Certificate Rejected by ChainVerifier" error.

Have checked the SDN threads with the same error but couldn’t find the solution.

We have other SOAP scenarios with certificates which are working fine.  The only difference between these scenarios is that the new scenario contains certificate chain while the existing working scenarios have single certificate.

Is there specific procedure to be followed for importing the certificate chain ? or any setting needs to be done to link these certificates while importing into  NWA->TrustedCA's.

Appreciate any suggestions on this.

Hi,

Have you reffered the certificate in the channel?

We are using the certificate only for HTTPS/SSL, not for client Autthentication. Hence not referring this certificate in the channel.
