Enhancement for Ck11n or Ck40n

I would like to Enhancement for Ck11n or Ck40n for where the system have exclude the cost estimate/ cost upload  process on those materials which material price is <= 1

Please advise.

Identify the materials that have Cost less than a dollar.

Do a mass update on Material Master(MM17). Update "Do Not Cost" Flag in Costing View 1.

yes...i know that, but due some problem I want to the said process through Uesr exist.

If I have use the enhancement COPCP005 instead of COPCP003 , is it correct process. Please advice (ref of Mr Ruzi) .

You cannot use COPCP003 as it will not be called during std costing. In COPCP005 you cannot zero out the costs. You can make the cost a penny. SAP will not simply ignore a material that is on BOM, unless you want to check the "Not Relevant for costing" flag.

What is the exact business scenario. If say a Finished good FG1- has bom with two Raw Materials. RM1 ($10) and RM2 ($1). Cost will be $11. What do you want the cost to be?

Actually happened is our process is too large. MM team are create/edit Material code, PP team are creating BOM & costing team is executing the costing. More than 10 lacs FG, SFG (split valuated) & RW (split) are process. For this cause I have unable to search / edit / segregate the material value is low. So I want the user exist.

For your reply I want to exclude RM2 which is $1 with use option for "Not Relevant for costing" flag.

Because at future PP team it may update the value through MR21 without help of MM team.

SInce you have many materials have an ABAP guy write a program to search for material where cost is less than $1 and update the "Do Not Cost" flag in material master.

Did you try to check COPCP003?

The user enhancement COPCP003 (User Exit for Production Resource/Tool

Costing) enables you to include the planned costs for production

resources and tools in costing with quantity structure.
