I am trying to do posting in MIRO, but I am getting the error i.e. Posting period 001 2012 is not open.

I tried transaction MMPV, there i get the error i.e.

Mode: Check and close period

Client:110

Period entered (month/year):012012

Incorrect period in control rec. of CoCd NSTL; no conversion

The current period (month/year) of the control record is042012

Period closing complete; log issued.

Plus I checked Transaction OB52 also. but i am not able understand the values maintained there. Can anyone help me what should i do in this scenario???

I did what u told me....

Now I am getting the error i.e.

In company code NSTL, the number range 51 is missing for the year 2012

Message no. F5150

Diagnosis

The document type you specified has been allocated to a number range in fiscal year "2012" that has not been created.

Procedure

Check the configuration of the number range for the specified document type. Create this number range if it does not already exist or allocate a valid number range for the document type.

Note

Enter '9999' as the year if you want to use number ranges that are not dependent on a particular fiscal year. If you do this, the number range you allocate is then valid for the current and all following years.

If you want to use number ranges that are dependent on a fiscal year, you should create these manually for the years you require using the Copy by fiscal year function.

PFA the new OB52

hi

Currently posting periods are opened from jan 2000 to dec 2010.

So you need to open the posting period for 2012.

So that you can able to post the MIRO.

And make sure the MM periods also opend for 2012 period .. check MMRV before posting.

Thanks

Ramu

In order to resolve the Error,

In company code NSTL, the number range 51 is missing for the year 2012

I used transaction Obh2. Now when i open Miro, i am getting a pop up like an information message....

Allowed posting periods: 04 2012 / 03 2012 / 12

2011

This popup is not allowing me to do any posting....

Dear Suruchi,

For Document Number Ranges Copy to New Fiscal Year: T.Code:OBH2

Here enter your Company Code:

Source Fiscal year details

To fiscal year :

Target Fiscal year details:

To fiscal year: 2012

You can post only in current period or previous period in MM i.e. your crrent period = 04/2012 and previous period 03/2012.

Dear Suruchi,

If you want to post the document for the previous period(Which is already closed), Use T.Code: MMRV

Enter your company Code

And Select Allow posting to previous period

I have already maintained this setting. And even if I do that, my previous period will be 032012 as my current period period is 042012.

But i need to do posting in 012012.

How can i achieve this???
