PR not getting generated after MRP Run

Hi,

The issue is thatwhen MRP is executed through batch Job PR is not getting generated automatically.The MRP is ececuted at Reorder point level.

I have checked all the parameters in MRP 1 view and MRP 2 view.The reorder point is 25 and stock maintained is 15 .Hence when MRP is executed

a PR of 10 units need to be executed.

I have checked config also.The plant is included in scope of planning file and MRP is activated for this plant.Please note The same program RMMRP000

is running well for other plant.

Please let me know if I am missing any configurations in Consumption based planning

Hi,

Check MRP Type and Lot Size (lot sizing procedure)!

In reorder point planning (type of consumption based planning) when you run MRP, the system will calculate the net requirement which is /are stock available at plant including any Safety Stock and outstanding Purchase Orders.  If the sum of all these stock available is/are less than the reorder point, there is a material shortage and so MRP run create a purchase requisition according to the lot sizing procedure defined on the material master.

MRP Type=VB

Lot Size=HB-Replinish upto maximum stock Level

In MD 04 there is no open PR and out standing PO .I have also checked MB5T ,whether there is any stock in Transit.The material is also not blocked for procurement

- check that material in MD21 whether this material is included in planning file. if not add it through MD20.

- to ensure check the open PO and PR in ME2M and ME5A, If you are sure about no open PO and PR, check whats your maximum replenishment stock level? is it 15 or less. if yes, its not logical.. maximum replenishment stock should be above the reorder point. If its 15 or less system wont create the PR.

hi,

are talking about any specific material or entire materials under a plant.?

if it is for a specific material, then check whether a planning file entry has created for the material or not in MD21. if not do some material movement like goods issue to create a planning file entry and then run MRP. this should create a PR.

In our case we are having reorder point planning

MRP Type-VB

Lot Size =HB

I have checked all the parameters

Total Stock=MMBE

Stock in Transit=mb5t

There is no outstanding PR or PO

Safety Stock=0

As per norms  maintained in MRP the system should automatically generate PR after MRP run

The program name is RMMRP000(the batch job which is executed for MRP run) and the Tcode for the same is WC27

there might already be a PR or PO for 10 qty or more.
