Hi

We are getting this error when we process payroll for 15th pay period in weekly payroll ( 14 being current payperiod ).  Can someone suggest what could be the likely cause of the problem.

thanks

Bala

Note 1591627 - PRPRI: Endless loop / 'Maximum of 999 loops' error, has given the solution.

Hi,

We are facing the similar issue and on analysis found that the net income is less to take the deductions. In that case, I was wondering why an overpayment is not getting created and instead it goes in to an endless loop.

I also checked the SAP note and it talks about a customer exit, but is there no solution other than the customer exit?

Sorry, to use the same post, but since this is unanswered, I decided to use the same post.

Thanks.

That error message happens for one employee.  Try to find out if it is the first employee processed or one of the other ones (execute Payroll in the foreground and look at the bottom of the screen where the employee being processed is shown).

Once you have established the employee number, do a simulation with the "Display Log" box checked, and try to identify the WT that causes the loop.

Check to see if your retro is trying to go too far back.  You may need to adjust some master data if that is the case.
