Unable to edit communication data coming from ECC

Former Member

Hi,

we replicated customers from ECC to CRM as part of the legacy data migration. In the following CRM is the leading system for the customer maintenance. The problem we have is that the communication data that came from ECC cannot be edited and changed in CRM. The data simply gets wiped out when I hit enter or the save button. So this means that I cannot e.g. correct a phone number in CRM.

If I maintain the data in CRM initially, I can also change it afterwards.

The following fields are affected:

Phone/Extension

Mobile

Fax/Extension

E-Mail

Website

Any ideas why this happens?

Thanks

Nicole Lange

Hi Nicole,

Is note  1364519 valid for your scenario? (I odn't know what NTD means?)

Best regards,

Brian.

Hi Brian,

I am not sure if this note is relevant because we have the issue not only with the phone number but also Fax, Email and the website.

Any other ideas?

Cheers

Hello Nicole,

any clues on that?

We have a similar problem, but it only seems to occur on initial load from R/3 to CRM.

When changing the data in R/3 system, the changes gets replicated to CRM properly.T

BTW: NTD means not-time-dependent

Thanks a lot and kind regards

Hello Hannes,

I opened a ticket with SAP and they are working on that issue for a while now. Hopefully, a note will be published soon to fix this issue.

Hello Nicole,

we have the problem also with searchterm and customer classifiication which are not getting replicated from ecc to crm. This only happens in the initial load.

When changing the phone number in ecc it gets replicated properly to crm.

This seems to be a common problem. But in our case this only happenswhen we changed the account group via xd07 from an own z-account group to standard sold-to-party before the replication.

The standard replication from a newly created sold-to-party works perfectly fine.

I also raised an oss message. As soon you have an answer it would be nice if you could provide the solution. I will do that as well.

Thanks a lot and kind regards

Hannes
