BW 7.3 & Business Objects 4.0 Hierarchy errors

We recently upgraded to BW 7.3 and came across hierarchy issues on business objects 3.1 and 4.0 patch 9.

The following error is produced when you try and run a WEBI with the hierarchy in the result object area; A database error occured. The database error text is: Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. An error occurred when getting data from the processor.. (WIS 10901)

Has anyone came across this issue?

Applying below not is supposed to fix this problem.
