Idoc settings pi server to ecc server

Hi all,

Can any one help me how to do idoc settings from pi 7.3 server to ecc6 server.

Hi Rajesh,

1.Identify Message type and Basic type to be used for posting the SAP .

2.Create RFC Destination (SM59) to Receiver XI system.

3.Create PORT (WE21) and assign the RFC Destination created above to this PORT .

4.Create Logical System (LS) by using  (BD54) to be sent to the XI receiver system .

5.Create Partner Profile with outbound parameter (WE20) to be send to the XI receiver system

Some Other Configuration (Capturing Metadata Information etc) in XI System

1.Create RFC Destination (SM59) to Sender System  

2.Create PORT using transaction (IDX1) to get the Metadata

3.To maintain the IDoc Metadata need to use transaction (IDX2).

Hi,

Find below procedure

Actions to be done in PI system

1.Create RFC connection for R3 using T-Code sm59

2.Create a port using T-Code IDX1

Use R3 RFC destination

Actions to be done In ECC server

1.create a logical system for XI system using BD54 T-Code

2.Create RFC destination to PI server using sm59 T-Code

3.create partner profile for the logical system using T-Code WE20
