index entries greater than tables

Hi All,

The index entries are more than the table entries in db02.The total table size is 443,651,344 kb and  total size of indexes is  473.774,680kb.Kindly Let me know what housekeeping has to be done to reduce the index entries.

Hi Ram,

If you are using Oracle Database - then you can use the report RSANAORA and rebuild the index. Once rebuild of the index is done , you can run update stats for the index and the table using the same report.

If you are using MS SQl server, You need to do it from SQL Management Studio.
