Synchronous PSA Load Option in Infopackage

Hi,

When i enable the Synchronous PSA Load option in the Processing tab of Infopackage the PSA gets Loaded.But when i deselect the option the records are not receiving .

can anyone explain me the use of this option and how it affects the Process?
