Batch number

Dear gurus,

we have internal batch number assignment.

we want for SFG,RAW,FERT different number range

can it be possible .

i made number range in SNRO WITH object BATCH_MAT for HALB material type & also thre is internal number range is maintained with object BATCH_CLT.

when i am making the production order for senifinished by default system is taking number range from object BATCH_CLT.,

we want for HALB system should consider object BATCH_CLT.

how it will be possible

Hello Siva,

Ye ucan create  group with the req number range and assign these group to Material type

after  maintaining the setting in MMNR ,no need to make any setting anywhere & no need for any user exit. right.

Batch numbers are not material type or plant specific in standard. if you want to material type specific number range, you have to activate the user exit "EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001"

in production scheduling profile i have maintained automatic batch creation at the time of order creation.

but it is not coming .
