How to create a user validation and replace the existing logon page with newly developed page through SAP NWDS.

Dear All,

I have developed a jsp page using SAP NWDS which will replace the current logon page of our Portal. Can anyone help me in writing the logic for user validation for the new page that I' ve created and also how to replace the existing page with new one.
