On Hold account in chart of account

We want put to on hold more than 5000 general ledger account in chart of account in account details Tab.we can not make manual.But when we go through DTW chart of account template then there is no any column for Hold.How we will do?

Can I run the update query for same from sap b1 query generator tool for tick  yes for Frozen for field

You CAN run update query. However, SAP strongly against it. If anything wrong because you directly update system table, you will lost SAP support.

Think twice before you proceed.

Hi,

Only about 1/3 of fields are available for DTW OACT table.  Your have too many G/L Accounts when you initialize the database. To keep 5000 accounts on hold is not a practical process even if they are available to DTW.

Recreate db or delete unnecessary accounts might be the only solution for you.

Hi,

The on hold field is FrozenFrom and FrozenTo in the OACT table but currently seems unavailable. Either in SAP B1 8.82 release or SAP B1 2007B SP01.

I've also checked SDK help file and I can't find the fields. I think it is not exposed to DI at those both versions.

So, I suggest to use the SBO validation using dbo.SBO_storeprocedure_transactionnotification

that preventing users to use the 5,000 account codes.
