SAP MDM 7.1 License

I have recently installed MDM 7.1, could you please some one help me , how to apply SAP license for this system.

To download SAP MDM 5.5/7.1 contents, user must have SMP Login credentials. I have installed MDM 5.5 and 7.1 many times, but it never asked for licence key.

Can you let us know, if you are facing any specific error?

you have to download licence from servicemarket place, than you have to connect that file to your tool for eg, in ecc under tcode slicence you have to give path to licence file.

i installed some mdm system (self learning), they never ask license.....

maybe technically it doesn't need one.....
