Shipping Notification Expected flag on SRM Supplier?

Hi All,

During vendor master replication from ECC to SRM, which field on the vendor master record in ECC maps to the "shipping notification expected" flag on the SRM supplier (supplier data tab)?  I would have expected the "confirmation control" field (= 0004 (Inbound delivery)) on the ECC vendor master to map to the "shipping notification expected" flag on the SRM supplier, but this is not the case (I tested this and it does not update the SRM vendor)

Any ideas?

Can you check in Supplier portal? There is option for the same.

Hi Vinay,

thanks for the note.  We are not using supplier portal.  Our scenario is to replicate vendors from SAP R/3 to SRM, and thus vendors shall only be created/updated in SAP R/3.  If I log into SRM under adminstrator, I can see the "shipping notification expected" flag and update it, however, we do not want to update vendors directly in SRM, we should only update them in SAP R/3.  There must be a field in R/3 vendor master that maps to this SRM vendor master field?

Hi,

Can you change Confirmation Control key from 0004 to 0001?

0001 is to expect order acknowledgement & shipping notification.

It might resolve your issue.

Yes i tried that and it still does not work   is there a help link or document that you know of that defines the standard mapping between SAP ERP vendor master and SRM supplier?

Can you post screen shot of your ECC vendor tab screen where we define Confirmation Control Key?

This field has to be updated by R3 system.  Can I know which scenario you are working and version of the SRM server ?

yes, we are only updating vendors in r/3 and replicating to SRM.  we are using Extended classic scenario, SRM 7.01

I have tried that, but that field in r/3 maps to the SRM field "Purchase Order response expected".
