Service PO Value more than Contract Value

Dear All,

My Requirement is to Restrict User to Create Service PO if the Value is Exceeding the Service Contract.

As PO is created with Reference to Service Contract but the we can change the Value / Amount in the PO. i tried using message 06 42 But it is not working.

Any solution to Restrict user to create PO if it is exceeding the contract value.

You can use framwork work order (FO doc type) for limit.

Hope you're creating value contract.. message 06 042 will appear when you try to save or check if you have multiple line items. did you save the PO?

Mahesh,

   The message 06 042 will appear if value of PO exceeds the target value in contract. Only in one case it doesn't work.

If the PO has multiple lines and even if totally it exceeds the target value, this message will not appear if the value of individual lines are below the limit.
