The Business is concerned that any note that is added to a document can be deleted without any apparent audit trail. The Business would like to know whether it is possible (for security reasons) to make it impossible for a user to delete or overwrite any data once it has been attached to a document?
From time to time the Business uses the note taking facility available through the button, to attach document’s and note’s to AR documents.
For example: User opens FBL5N and searches for the customer number e.g. XXX
The user wishes to attach a note to the doc XXXXX. They double click on the doc number and the doc detail .Once they create an attachment it is added to the attachment list .The user can then click on the note or attachment to open the doc
