BEx user exit

Hai,

I am working with a query that user a variable with "customer user exit". My problem is I just know the name of the variable(description and technical name). I need to check if the user exit and code are working properly. I tried going to CMOD, enter a name and create a project and in enhancement, I gave the name RSR00001 and create and it gave me a warning saying its already used in a project. I copied that name and opened it but in that project I don't see anything that's related to mine. Is this the right way or do I need to do anything else? Please advise.
