Communication Channel not updated

Former Member

I updated a communication channel 2 days ago. I changed the value of service number, then activated it, then went to Environment-->Clear SLD Data Cache. I repeated this a few times. But still the old value is used (found in message). What did I miss? Thanks!

Hi,

The point is: you have cleared a wrong cache . SLD Data Cache, as the name says, is a cache between System Landscape Directory and Integration Directory, in case you wanted to import/reimport some Business System, for instance. And in order to get your communication channel change reflected in operation, you should clear the cache in transaction sxi_cache of the ABAP stack instead - it is the Integration Directory Cache. Once you're there, choose Runtime Cache -> Start Delta Cache Refresh of even safer: Runtime Cache -> Start Complete Cache Refresh from the top menu. After the cache refresh is finished, you will have your change working fine.

Regards,
Greg

Dear Dayong

Cache is not updated.

You can also delete the existing one and create a new one.

Hi Dayong,

Did you see if your changes were updated in cache. Check it from Environment -> cache Notifications. check for green status for your changes to channel. If it is red or grey it means cache content is not up-to-date. Try initiating cache update again from the button present there on top.

Even if it does not work try what this link suggest or get in touch with Basis.

Hope this helps,
