RFC Sender Adapter

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to build RFC sender adapter which will poll a table in SAP and pass the values to XI. For the same can I schedule the RFC sender adapter? I can do that with some scheduled ABAP program in SAP which can call the RFC on XI but just wanted to make sure whether XI can handle the same to avoid development on SAP side.
