Suppliers confirmed to participate the autction, but can't bid, how?

Hi, could you please do me a favor? I created an auction first, supplier got email as following, then logged in as this supplier role to confirm, but as supplier role I can't proceed the bidding, seems I need Xpress as supplier role? or something else? Thanks for your quick help.

Hi Like,

I think the supplier will see the auction at the time your auction opens,

For instance if your auction opens on 10/4/12 at 20:00 hrs, the supplier could see the auction at 20:00 hrs only and not before that.

Thanks. This morning I tested again and seems found the reason, I should input the bidding information on "Bidding" tab besides click the button "Confirm Participation", which means I should bid actually (e.g. input my price), not just click "Confirm" button. At the beginning I thought there were 2 independant steps (Confirmation---->Bidding) via logan twice, actually they are just in one step (at the same time).

What exactly is the supplier seeing? Can the supplier see the auction but not able to place a bid?

There should be no need to assign Xpress permissions. You may want to check the security profile assigned to the supplier contact and check if the Auctions permissions are setup correctly.

Well, I found other auctions could be available for this supplier bidding except this auction, not know why, anyway I think it is not related to Xpress.
