loading failed for the ods.

dear gurus,

i've the master data load to ods in process chain, which was in yellow status for long time, so turned the IP to red(we are working on bw). so i manually re ran the IP(usually used to take 1 hr) was running for 5+ hrs. so one of our colleague turned the request of ods to red. so please suggest me should i re-ran the IP again, by deleting the bad request from ods by turning it red.

or is there some other methodology for this

Hi Ratin,

1. Check the status of the job in SM37,
     a) if its active, check the status of the job in application server (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25323)
     b) if its canceled, try repeating the load.
2. Before repeating the failed IP, make sure you delete the red request after making the QM status red.

Hi Ratin,

If the extraction job is not completed then try repeating the IP.

If extraction job is completed then, the Info Package is in yellow due to tRFC stuck.

If this is the case then you can sove the  problem by clearing the tRFC's in the Source System.
