Dear All,

I'm doing Legal consolidation for BPC 7.5NW SP10. My consolidation application is YTD. When I run my P&L report with Measure "YTD", the report refresh perfomance is quite good and able to get the data very fast. However, when I change the measure from YTD to Periodic, the report is not getting refreshed and system is getting hung. I have about 65 rows and 34 columns in the report. Total Dimensions being used in the application is 10.

Please note that when I select just 2 to 3 rows in a report, Periodic values refresh is quite good. I have this performance issue only when I run full P&L with the size stated above.

Could some one please suggest, how can I fix this issue?

Hi,

The system performance can be affected due to various reasons. First of all, there are lot of cells fetched in the report - 65*34. Secondly, I am guessing you have some dimension formulas for some of the members fetched in the report. This also affects the performance.

You might try to optimize your application, compress the application, try to assign more memory to the server / client, etc, to improve the performance.
