Hi All,

Error message from the source system

Diagnosis

An error occurred in the source system.

System Response

Caller 09 contains an error message.

Further analysis:

The error occurred in Extractor .

Refer to the error message.

Procedure

How you remove the error depends on the error message.

Note

If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

Am facing the same error when am running the info package for 2lis_05_qvudn data source.

Hi Swapnil,

This issue might have occured due to time stamp error.

Try replicating the data source of corresponding source system and activate the transfer structure using RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL program. Then repeat the IP.

This may solve your problem. Please Revert back if issue persists.

Hi,

There are few things

1. If there is Infosource mapping say Update rule..delete and recreate if that is just 1:1 mapping

2. Data transfer method see if you change to IDOC activate and try again and see if it works..There are two check button one is IDOC and another PSA..just change activate and try data loading again

3. Have u tried deleting DS and replicating again there may be some time stamp related issue..there are few standard tables which stores this time stamp u can check that as well.

Hi,

check following things

1. Check RSA3 and if it extracting any data or just throwing the error.If it throws the error you have to re do data source again.

check following thread for that

2. If R/3 side is not an issue then you can check BW side..check whether RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL and replicate the datasource again and retry..

3. Delete the datasource in BW and replicate again and carry out mapping again..

Hi Swapnil.

First try to extract data in RSA3 .Please let me know If you are able to extract some data in RSA3 ?

If the extraction is not happening in RSA3 then check with basis team and do the indexing on the fields which are present in the data source selection.

Please let me know the status.

Hi Swapnil,

1. As the job got failed during extraction, check the error with which the job got canceled in the source system. 
2. Check whether there are any TRFC's stuck.
3. Is this happening always with this load?
    If 'No' is the answer, trying repeating the load, might be performance issue.

I think is data is  not extracted completely from source system. Please delete the request and try again.

If it does not work, proceed as per vijay's advice.

HI,

I assume issue is due to Time stamp -

suggest to replicate the datasouce and activate the datasource - using RS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL .

Also check TRFC connection.

u have given some slections in rsa3 for 2lis_02_s012  while testing the ds in ecc side u need to give same selections in the infopackage in BW side then it will works.

if its helpful assign me the points otherwise revert me.

Above is the data selection shown in SAP R3 and SAP BI respectively.

Deleting PSA and again extracting same error is shown. Data is not coming in original form - PSA. I have also extracted using RSA3 and replicated the respective DataSource. But things are not working.
