Plant Specific QM settings

Hi All QM experts,

We have a business scenario where we need to copy the inspection results into batch characteristics. To do this, in may knowledge we need to maintain following plant specific QM settings:

Under 'Plant specific QM settings' ---> Results recording tab ---> Recording configuration ---> Option 3 (Close, navigate, save automatically)

But problem we are facing is ---> when we enter 'Plant specific QM settings'  in SPRO, we cannot find the Option 3. Rather we find some other options.

Can anyone explain why this is happening. In earlier support pack we had this option, but after the new support pack implemented, we are facing this problem.

Is there any SAP Note available to solve this problem?

Currently we are using support pack - SAPKH60016 (Software Component - SAP_APPL, ECC-6.0).

In the earlier support pack - SAPKH60013 (Software Component - SAP_APPL, ECC-6.0).

Hello Srijit,

Not sure about Support Pack upgrade but I believe, you can define these options in QM Configuration (SPRO).

Goto SPRO --> QM --> Quality Inspection --> Results Recording --> Define Recording Configurations.

If you don't find 3 (Close, navigate, save automatically) there in Plant-specific QM settings, go to above path and define one for you.

For your reference, you can define value 3 (Close, navigate, save automatically) by selecting all standard SAP options except the last one i.e. Skip characteristic overview screen.
