SAP BPC 10.. admin module

Hi,

we've just installed SAP BPC 10 on our BW system... How do I access the admin module ?

As I understand - I do not require client admin software any more ?

Also where do I find the Microsoft Excel client software ?

Hi dalby,

To access the BPC 10 admin interface you have to access through a browser. To find out what URL to access it you can do the following steps:

1. Go to transaction SICF in NetWeaver 
2. Type “SERVICE” in the "Hierarchy Type" field and click the Execute button 
3. A new screen will be shown, expand the following paths under "Virtual Hosts / Services": default_host->sap->EPM_BPC 
4. Right click on web and select Test Service, you will be prompted to grant access

Also, the EPM add-in download should be available inside the BPC 10 Web Page under the Launch panel.

You will have to login through Web interface. THere must be an URL setup to access the server, you will access the interface through that URL. Once you are connected to the server, you can launch excel add-in/administration console from there.

what is the "standard" url for the web admin ?

i've tried both:

\\IP-number  BWserver\osoft

\\IP-number  BWserver\SAP\WEB\BPC
