Hi All,
we have switched on number range buffering for few objects in SNRO as per note 130253 in our development system. But when we try to do the same in QA or production system; it gives message 'system has status non modifiable and only display is possible'.
Before we open the production client to make changes we want to be completely sure that client open is the only option. We have been requested to transport the buffer settings instead of opening client. But we did not find any option to transport buffer settings. Got the option to transport intervals as per below
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/1f/83112d4bc511d189750000e8322d00/content.htm
But our requirement is to; Not to chnage the intervals and only transport the buffer settings. (Means the object for which we have enabled number range buffering in dev; and is set to no buffering in QA/prod; we want to check whether it can be done via transport)
I have done my analysis and it looks the only option is to open the client and make changes directly. Before seeking approval for the same; want to be completely sure whether anyone has any knowledge about the possibility of transporting the buffer settings or client open is the oply option.
Thanks
Varun
Configuration, Display, Change........if that doesn't allow you to do that, probably will need to open the client
