As you drag a grid's scroll box, the value from the first column is shown in a scroll tip window next to the scroll bar. Can this be configured to show the value from any column (not just the first)? Consider the case where the grid's contents are sorted on a user-selectable column. It would be useful to show the selected column's value in the scroll tip window.
There is no option to take influence on that in 2004 + it seems to be no longer an application feature in 2005.
I did not check-out the new (collapsible) Grid object, but there's no option for such a thing according to all I know.
So, basically it would need a Development Request (DRQ) to get you such a feature...
Regards,
Frank

A column's Description property is shown in the status bar when the mouse is hovered over that column. The value shown in the scroll tip however, is taken from the column's cell. We would like to control which column's value is displayed, much like the Choose From List behavior found in the Business Partner Master Data function and others.

Hi,
Isn't it the Description property of the Column object?
