Not enough permissions to search principals from UME?

Hi

I have been trying to assign Principles to a task in NDS, however while searching in the UME dialog boxes - it gives me the error

Not enough permissions to search principals from UME, please contact your system Administrator

The admin user id used for looking up the principles has Portal Super Admin and SAP_BPM_SuperAdmin (have assigned all *bpm roles) roles to it. when I log into the Portal using the same iD, I can very well use the Identity Manager without any restrictions.

Is there any other authorization missing for the admin user??

The server is 7.3, Sp05 and NDS is at 7.3 SP05 PAT0003
