Hi,

you may consider if ACE (Access Control Engine) fits your requirements (with ACE you could restrict the visibility of certain BPs to some users based on your criteria: you could implement ACE so that users do not see some BPs at all, so that they cannot change them or use them in creating transactions)

Hi,

in case you need more information on ACE, see sap note 1178926 and the documentation for all the activities in SPRO under CRM->Basic Functions->Access Control Engine.

Moreover, just to have an idea on the steps required for implementation, apart from the very well written tutorial in my post above, try also reading other tutorials on the internet (e.g. http://sapcrmtutorials.com/2011/12/basic-configuration-settings-for-aceaccess-control-engine/

Best regards!

Laura.

You can use blocking reasons on business partner. In this way you will get error message on transaction when blocked business partner will be used.

Then you have 2 options:

- implement sap notes which prevent saving transactions with errors

- or implement logic in ORDER_SAVE badi to restrict saving of document for only that particullar reason
