Implementing an own Navigation Connector/Source

Hello,

we would like to extend the content displayed in EP Navigation iViews (top/detailed).

In addition to the content that is retrieved from pcd roles by the roles connector, we would like to address html content on a file server. (via km.docs component)

The generic approach is described briefly in the help docs:

Does anybody has experiences in merging pcd content with content from different sources?

Are there any examples, e.g. a XML connector?

I would really appreciate any help or comments...
