importing CCMS info into Java application

Hi,

my external Java application needs to read CCMS event information from a SAP system. Is there sort of an API (RFM or something the like) I can access via JCo?

If access to the CCMS is not possible that way, what other possibilities do I have (I am not the administrator of the SAP system btw.)?
