convert minutes into hours

Hi all,

Its a very small thing but i am not able to figure out the problem.

I need to convert minutes into hours, i.e. 30 minutes = 0.5 hours or 70 minutes = 1.16 hours.

I know i should do directly minutes/60.. But when i am doing this, its returning me 1 instead of 0.5. I am not using any rounding off functionality but its getting rounded off to 1.

Please help !!!!
