Consuming an external webserive using JAVA

Iam trying to consume an external

webservice in NWDS using java.when i

specify external wsdl (While creating

proxy) iam getting the error message as

"Invalid WSDL or WSDL not found",but when

i type the same URL in browser i can open

that.Iam connecting to website through a

proxy server.Can any one help me on this

    what autentication is used to connect to the Internet via the Proxy?

    hello,

    Have you set the Proxy Settings (Window -> Preferences -> Workbench -> Proxy Settings) in NWDS?

      Hi Suresh,

      First log on to the proxy using you browser so that a session is started with the proxy and then try to read WSDL using NWDS.

      If it does not help try to encode user name and password in the URL. using

      http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html?sap-client=<client>&username=<user>
