Serial Number issue in Sales Order

Hello Experts,

When i am creating Sales Order i am not able to capture the serial number on the technical objects.

What are the settings need to check to reflect serial number in sales order.

I am getting below error.

I have maintained the serial number profile.

Serialization not possible for material number D-ASW2500

Message no. IO205

Diagnosis

The serial number profile of the material does not allow serialiazation for the operation you have chosen.

Procedure

Maintain the serial number profile.

Kindly suggest.
