Enhancing an AET generated TableView UI component (CRM 7.01)

Hi Experts,

I would like to customize the behaviour of an AET generated (Tr.: AXTSYS) UI component. I need to modify the view's context node as well.

Would it be the right solution if I enhance (Enhancement Set) the AET generated Z UI component? I cannot imagine any other correct solution to modify the behaviour of such a generated component.

Hi Gabor,

I dont see any need to enhance to the Z Ui component, since you can edit the nodes normally as they are 'Z'. are you trying to change any getter-setter methods? then you would only need to generate it.

Hi Anu,

As I know if I need to regenerate the AET generated UI component (because of any change in the structure of the tableview or just the translation) then the context node classes will be regenerated as well so my custom code will disappear. That's the problem with the normal edit of the generated Z component.
