Enhancing an AET generated TableView UI component (CRM 7.01)

Hi Experts,

I would like to customize the behaviour of an AET generated (Tr.: AXTSYS) UI component. I need to modify the view's context node as well.

Would it be the right solution if I enhance (Enhancement Set) the AET generated Z UI component? I cannot imagine any other correct solution to modify the behaviour of such a generated component.
