Archiving messages

Dear All,

I am planning to archive messages from moni .I got one good sdn blog.The very first step mentioned to do in that blog is

By default, the message will be marked for deletion. We need to explicitly configure interfaces so that those messages will be marked for archiving. This configuration needs to be done even before sending the very first message in PI. If this configuration is not done already then all messages in PI will be marked for deletion.

We can use the program RSXMB_DEL_TO_ARCH to change the deletion flag of these message to archiving flag. Note that this action is irreversible. Field ITFACTION of the table SXMSPMAST stores the flag. We can check this table after executing the program to see if the flag has been updated properly.

but when i see the table(SXMSPMAST) entries of field ITFACTION in my pi dev system it is having all 3 flags(del,arch,init).As it mentioned in that blog all messages should have DEL flag but it does not have like that.How to resolve this ????

Please give u r inputs which would help to resolve this.Please find the attached screenshots.

Hi

Init means that messages has been processed by your PI before delete&archiving procedure has been introduced. Please take into account that messages in error state have to be manually  canceled and those messages are archived ( Itfaction arch.)
