IDES ERP 6.0 Enh Pack 5 (ABAP-AS) and XSS with EP 7.02 SP3 (JAVA-AS)

Hi,

I installed IDES ERP 6.0 Enh Pack 5 (ABAP-AS) and XSS with EP 7.02 SP3 (JAVA-AS) in same server.

I configured with SSO between Portal and R/3, and maintained the relevant JCo Destinations.

However, when I tried to test ESS/MSS under IDES JAVA, we encountered a lot of problems:

1. Under ESS, the pages are blank for many functions, like Who's who, personal information, etc... However, PDF form, like Total Compensation can be displayed.

2. Under MSS, many pages shown 500 error.

Is there installation/setup guide for HCM IDES with XSS(ESS, MSS, etc) ?

Thanks.

are you planning to use EHP5 WD ABAP iviews in the portal.

then you have to activate switches for ehp5!  Please check the roles.Read the note 1450179

and check your support packages level, they should be compatible

You can do so via SFW5, and check the switches you want to activate can be checked in note below

Note  1450179 will give switches to activate

I ran with SFW5 and found that most of the switches for ehp5 are already activated. But still

this is still using JAVA WD, are you planning to WD ABAP iviews or still sticking to EHP4?

The error above is due to missing URL of PCD for the particular resource

check the services in the homepage customisation and the role
