Master Forecast Profile

Gurus,

I am new to DP and have a very basic question. When we create Forecast Profile (t-code /sapapo/mc96b) we need to enter a Master Profile for Forecasting (check the screenshot). Could you please let me know where (path or t-code) we maintain this master profile?

Hi,

You give the name of the master profile in this transaction itself. If you or someone else already created some master forecast profile, you could search for the same by using F4 or by clicking on dropdown (like in any other standard SAP transaction).

Give a name as per the naming convention used in your business. On saving, this master forecast profile would be created.

Ok this means that there is no separate configuration of the profile. It is just a name that should be given as per the business convention.

Hello,

For newly created master profile, please enter the name named by you directly.
This (/sapapo/mc96b) is where we maintain master profile, no other places.
