Wrong Actual PGI Date

Dear Expert,

i have an issue, i have done OTC , in that bcoz of some problems i need to cancel the cycle , while doing reversal of pgi ( t.code vl09), we need to change GI date and reversal date should be same.but by overlook, say example GI DATE 06.02.2012 I have kept reversal date as 01.03.2012, so, if there is no stock on 06.02.2012 we cannot do the pgi in the back dated.

Please provide me exact solution.

Hi Ram,

If you do PGI for a sale order it will give outbound delivery no & the stock will get knock off.

1.For the same OBD no, u want to cancel, then use the T.code VL09 and specify the out bound delivery no and reverse it , by doing this stock will get back to the respected storage location.

2.Again go to VL02n specify the out bound delivery no and select the icon and delete the items then sale order become active.

Not only in reversal u said already once you have done pgi,again due to some reasons u have cancelled that one right as u said,and las tu said their is no stock,here if their is no stock then pgi doesnt happens,either u choose any date from today to any other day system will take but if u hoose already over days like yesterday sysemwill not take and if goods are not their then pgi cannot happen.

Actually I didn't understand your requirement exactly,as per my understanding, you fixed "X" date as GI date on that date if there is no stock what system do ?

For this if there is no stock system will not allow you to do the PGI.

Have a look on Actual GI date function whether it could be useful to you.
