No customer master exist

Hi,

We have done Customer master BDC on quality server,All data saved properly I can see in XD02...but when I create sales order no customer master exist error is coming.

I know this error because of Sales area is not maintain for particular customer ,when I go to XD02 and saving without any changes system is showing msg i.e. changes has been made,now If I will create sales order then there is no error.

here I want to understand we have done BDC successfully and data is showing correctly in XD02 then why I need to save customer again then only system pick up in sales order.I can not save every customer.

which field I need to check for no exist customer master....

Hi Vipin,

Check in Tcode: VCUST with the sales area which you are using to place the order. Whether that customer is existed in that particular sales area or not.

Check and confirm.

Hello Vipin,

Please check whether SOLD TO PARTY partner function extended while BDC in "sales area data" of customer master.

(sold to is mandatory,  even you check your customisations for account group); compare customer sales areas with order sales area.

Hi ,

You create a Sales Order for a Sales area which you can find in the intial screen of the "VA01" transaction.

You need to make sure that the Customer master has been extended to the Sales area when creating sales order.

Hi Ravi,

I have uploaded data through BDC, when I checked customer master everything is ok ..I m maintaining sales area while creating sales in VA01.
